Just 7 miles from stunning Summersville Lake and 28 miles from downtown Fayetteville, you’re never far from world-class whitewater, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and the breathtaking landscapes that make this region truly unique. Let the Arete be your launch pad to explore everything—from Summersville Lake State Park to New River Gorge National Park and all the incredible trails, crags, and waterways in between.
Nestled on three wooded acres and backing up to hundreds more, the Arete offers plenty of space to unwind after your adventures. This eco friendly / eco conscious three-story, timber-framed retreat is designed with both comfort and sustainability in mind. Sunlight floods the space, highlighting recycled oak pallet floors and reclaimed brick walls from a neighboring town. Locally salvaged doors add character, while ICF walls and SIPs roofing provide top-tier energy efficiency. A whole-house ERV system continuously circulates fresh, filtered, outdoor air—keeping the atmosphere clean, crisp, and comfortable.
Amenities include lightning-fast 1-gig fiber optic internet for you remote workers, high-efficiency mini splits for heating and cooling, cozy in-floor whole-house hydronic radiant heat, a fully equipped communal kitchen, and a welcoming lounge with pool table and Nintendo Switch.
